We want to highlight a stellar team member! BJ is the best employee Wrench Junkies has ever had. He’s hardworking and dedicated to making sure the shop runs smoothly. He has been with us for over four years and has been a significant asset to the WJ family! We are so thankful and appreciative of you BJ!

A little bit more about BJ:

I was born in Connecticut and moved to Georgia when I was really young. I started working on cars with my dad, and have worked on cars for most of my life. I am a father of 4 and a grandfather of 9. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking with the goal of hiking every state park in Georgia. My escape is riding my motorcycle on the weekend. I enjoy a good meal, especially jerked chicken!

A little bit about the man himself who keeps Wrench Junkies moving!

I am originally from Jamaica, but lived away from there for most of my life. I am also a husband, and father of 4.

My affection for cars started at an early age, and I am truly a gear head. Anything with an engine or wheels interests me. I started detailing cars at the age of 9, and I have been working on cars professionally for over 20 years.

I love the beach, music, good food and traveling. I love my family, and enjoy what I get to do at Wrench Junkies daily, this is truly a dream come true! - Kamal

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Hey there! We decided to start Wrench Junkies in March 2014. Kamal gave his 2-week notice at Kauffman Tire and secured our future as business owners. Two days after we found out we were pregnant, it was no looking back. We hit the ground running! Kamal was nervous about leaving a secure job to start a business. However, I was so excited he was finally pursuing his dreams, and I was entirely on board!

Almost ten years later, we have had the privilege of helping clients 'Get Their Fix' by providing honest, integral, and transparent service. I am very thankful for how far we have come and to all the wonderful clients, friends, and family who continue to support Wrench Junkies!

You may not see me often at Wrench Junkies. However, I am working behind the scenes being Kamal and Wrench Junkies' greatest supporter, partner, designer, and organizer. Now that our children are in school, you may see me at the shop, and when you do, I'll be sure to say 'Hello!’”
